The Ferox operation is Chart's principal European engineering and manufacturing facility and primarily services the MENA region. The focus is on cryogenic equipment and solutions for the storage, distribution and end-use of liquefied gases, including air gases, carbon dioxide (CO2), liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen and others.

Field Service - fully qualified technicians available to carry out on-site service, installation, commissioning repair, and maintenance of Chart Ferox systems, piping, and related cryogenic equipment. Teams can be deployed rapidly, especially in emergency situations.
Repairs and Refurbishment - re-test, repair and rehabilitation of cryogenic equipment and systems to ''as new" factory standards.
While Ferox forged its reputation in the air gas industry it has also been instrumental in the adoption of LNG as a safe, economic and clean burning fuel alternative for transport and energy. Pioneering projects attributable to the Chart Ferox team include:
Small-scale LNG multi-functional receiving terminals including jetty bunkering, filling hubs for road trailers and rail cars and regasification unit to cover local energy demand
Bunkering and LNG fueling systems for marine vessels
LNG virtual pipeline - bringing natural gas to areas not connected to the grid
Developing the fueling infrastructure for natural gas vehicles
Nitrogen vaporization and storage packages for floating LNG (FLNG)
In a JV with VTG, Chart Ferox developed a rail car for the safe transportation of LNG on Europe’s rail network

Chart Ferox, a.s., is implementing the 2nd stage of the installation of a photovoltaic power plant on the roofs of existing buildings in the area at Ústecká 30, 405 30 Děčín (cadastral district of Podmokly). The project will install 1271 photovoltaic panels with an output of 470 Wp, which represents a total installed capacity of 597.37 kWp. The reserved power for this stage is 179 kW. The project does not include battery storage.
